OK - Jacqueline's already asleep so I'm on my own with this one.
Yesterday we went to St. Paul's (as Jacqueline already said). Despite not being a big fan of heights, I was determined to go up every step to the top of the dome! WOW! It was worth it (the stone steps were fine but the winding iron steps required some positive self-talk and focus!)
At the top, there was a
small opening where you could see the 350 feet to the floor below...a loooong way down! Eric and I also checked out the Whispering Gallery and were able to pass messages across the gallery just by whispering - cool physics at work!

Really no need to pay for the London Eye with the views we had atop the cathedral!
We're enjoying the London Passes we bought before coming...we've yet to pay to get into any of the attractions we've seen! (More money for the pubs!)
The cruise down the Thames to Greenwich was interesting and relaxing - especially since we saw lots of stuff from the comfort of a bench!

And yes, the burgers from Gourmet Burger Kitchen were the best burgers ever!
Due to the wine being stronger than my 1 glass tolerance could handle, I was unable to update when we actually did this. At least Jacqueline is a responsible adult who has yet to overindulge in front of her child so you can count on her for regular updates!
