Looks like they have changed our flight to be ontime - and so is the AC flight for Annette and Eric! HOORAY.
I'm actually starting to get excited because it is becoming real finally - after all these months, we leave for our big trip. I feel like a little kid, a bit giddy and very nervous! BUT I'm still not ready, did just change the litter for my kitties, and changed the bedding for Dad and Jill, Matt looked after all the dishes and is now push-mowing the lawn and Sammy is looking after a few last minute laundry items and stocking her new iPod Touch up with Songs. Here is a pic of Matt doing the lawn. Just when he finished the sun went away and we had a HUGE downpour! But he didn't get wet.
We are going to go through our luggage one more time before we head out but we have a bit of time as Dad, bless his heart, PROMISED he would be here on time (for those of you not familiar with my dad, we love him, but he's ALWAYS late!). I included that "bless his heart" just for you Mitch! ;-)
So, I just spoke to Annette who is doing her last minute packing, but has guaranteed me she will be at the airport ontime thanks to RobertQ!!! (Thanks RobertQ!) and we should be arriving in London within a half hour of each other so hopefully all goes well.
I'm speaking for myself as well as on behalf of Annette, to our friends and family who are joining us vicariously through our blog: We hope we can bring you some pictures, maybe a video or two and some smiles as you experience London and Paris with us and if we're lucky - Ireland from Annette and Eric!
So we are scheduled to arrive in London 8-9 am July 1 - and we're going to make our way to the Brentford Dock apartment on the Thames river across the river from the Kew Gardens. To see the area we are staying while in London, CLICK HERE. If you zoom out you will see we are not really that far from Heathrow.
Thanks and we love you all!
